Intolerance in New Zealand

Benny Hill Hinn, a preacher in New Zealand is, apparently about a dumb as a bag of hammers. While preaching (a word I use loosely) in Auckland’s Vector Arena, he could tolerate the intermittent “amen” and “hallelujah” coming from the crowd, but - God forbid - a child get out of hand or a Tourette sufferer blurt out uncontrollably and his “God-given” response is:

“Shut up. You cannot be speaking when I am preaching. Nobody can do that here. We cannot allow people to be speaking back to me when I am ministering the word,” Hinn yelled. (The woman was “rudely ushered out of Benny’s house.”)

And even:

“This is the house of the Lord. Don’t let your children play in the aisles.”

It seems ol’ Benny missed Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (hint: it’s in The Bible).

If you donate to this symbol of intolerance, my guess is there aren’t many people you do like.
